Thinking of a local venue for your next function? Come and see what we have to offer.
The Community Centre has great facilities to hire for up to 100 people at very reasonable rates.
From birthday parties, intimate social events, seminars, trivia nights and even weddings, the centre has been a fantastic venue enjoyed by many.
Our features include:
- Heating and Cooling
- Wheelchair access/ disabled toilet
- Ample parking
- Access to fenced outdoor area
- Carpeted area with vinyl area for dancing
- Use of tables and chairs
- Use of kitchen facilities
* Functions must be finished by midnight (Saturdays)as we are in a residential area. Sunday Functions must be finished by 4pm and premises cleaned and vacated by 5pm.
* Functions celebrating 18th, 21st and teenage parties must now have a professional security company booked for the night.
Set up time for Weekend (Saturday) hirers is from 12.30pm (unless otherwise arranged with centre staff) and Hirers are expected to clean the premises on the night of the party. Set up time for Sunday functions is from 9am.
To ensure the enjoyment and safety of all it is a part of our hall hire agreement that hirers must register their party with the local police. "Safe Parties" brochure and registration forms are available at the centre, City of Kingston offices or can be downloaded by linking on to the City of Kingston website.
A liquor license is only required if hirers are planning to sell alcohol on the premises and for further information re a temporary liquor license go to www.consumer.vic.gov.au.

Hall hire – Permanent
Our permanent hirers are those who use our facilities to run their programs or activities on a regular basis. Our community centre aims to provide a variety of quality programs and our great facilities help hirers to make this possible. Many hirers have been with us for a number of years and have established themselves as a vital part of the community. Programs include dance (ballet, jazz and tap), fitness classes, movement and music programs, sports programs for kids, karate and social netball for as well as a rehearsal venue for our local theatre group.
Our features include:
- Heating and cooling in all hire areas
- Full size basketball court with sprung board floors
- Stage area
- Community centre with carpeted area
- Operable walls in both areas (to divide rooms for size or type of group activity.
- Wheelchair access/ disabled toilet
- Ample parking
- Close to local primary school and shops
***Permanent hirers must have their own public liability insurance and present a current copy prior to hiring.
