Venue Hire
The Aspendale Gardens Community Centre has a range of rooms available for casual and permanent hire. We are centrally located next to the Aspendale Gardens Shopping Centre and have off street parking available.

All hirers are required to set up for and pack up after their function to ensure the Centre is left in the same condition as upon arrival. Any equipment set up is at hirer's own risk.

Permanent Hirers
If you are wanting to run an activity at our Centre for 6 or more weeks, please contact the office for those hire rates and our requirements. An indication of the starting rates is given below.
Multipurpose Hall
Our Multi-Purpose Hall has a stage and can accommodate meetings or performances, functions such as fundraisers and trivia nights. It it also equipped for basketball and netball. The hall can be partitioned into two areas if required (half-court). All hirers are required to set up for and pack up after their function to ensure the Centre is left in the same condition as upon arrival.

Hire fee: $135.00 per hour (casual) or starting from $30 per hour (half court / permanent) | Friday & Saturday nights (from 6.00pm) - $625.00 flat rate (contact us for permanent rates)
Security Bond (payable for hire outside business hours): $1,000.00
Wall Panel fee: If you want the wall panels open - $50.00
Professional Cleaning fee (Sunday functions only) - $165.00

Community Centre Hall
Our Community Centre hall is a light filled, versatile space for children’s parties, family functions, meetings and a variety of other functions. Glass doors overlook our outdoor area that can be utilised as part of room hire.

Costs
Hire fee: $75.00 per hour (casual) or starting from $30 per hour (permanent) | Friday & Saturday nights (from 6.00pm) - $475.00 flat rate (contact us for permanent rates)
Security Bond (payable for hire outside business hours): $550.00
Wall Panel fee: If you want the wall panels open as seen in the photo below - $50.00
Professional Cleaning fee (Sunday functions only) - $165.00

Meeting Room

We have a smaller meeting room that can seat up to 20 people, with a sink and storage available.

Costs
Hire fee: $40.00 per hour
Security Bond (payable for hire outside business hours): $250.00
Kitchen
Hirers have shared access to our kitchen with a gas oven and stove, fridge and microwave. The kitchen is also available to hire as a separate room from $40 per hour.
Outdoor Garden
Both rooms have access to a shared Outdoor Garden area. This area must be tidied up and all rubbish picked up if used.
Conditions of Use
No smoking or vaping is allowed within 6 metres of the Centre.
A venue hire contract is required to be signed which includes specific terms and conditions in relation to the conditions of use.
